By reading these terms and conditions I agree the following in relation to my chosen study programme with C B Beautiful SPMU & Aesthetics / C B Academy known as C B Beautiful Group (CBBG)

Learning Agreement

1a. I have received information, advice and guidance to assess my suitability for this course and we reviewed my goals, expectations and the career progression options available

1b. I fully understand the requirements of the course and understand the entry requirements, and that any deposits paid are non refundable (non refundable booking fee).

1c. I have been made aware of the standards of practice expected of me, including’ behaviour and disciplinary action’, and accept these as full conditions of accreditation

1d. CBBG aim to provide a Healthy & Safe Environment for you to learn but I understand that I also play a part in taking reasonable care in all activities to safeguard the health & safety of myself and others

1e. I understand that CBBG have the right to revoke any certification as disciplinary if you are not abiding by the standards of practice set out in section 2

1f. I will be diligent in my learning, attend classes, and take exams as required to achieve the objectives needed to obtain your qualification

1g. I consent to being contacted by the CBBG, or a third party acting on our behalf, for the purposes of safeguarding

1h. I will notify CBBG if, during the course, I am convicted of a criminal offence (other than minor motoring offences)

1i. I understand why my information is being collected and who will have access to my personal data. I declare that all the information I have provided is accurate and that any false statements may result in disciplinary proceedings, listed in section 1e.

1j. I give my full consent to photographs taken on the day of the course to be used for promotional purposes on social media platforms linked to CBBG and approved third parties.

Standards of Practice

Section 2

Cosmetic treatments comprise of non-surgical, non-incisional procedures that change the appearance, colour, texture or structure of bodily features to achieve what clients perceive to be more desirable.

The client has a right to expect that the aesthetician offering the procedure does so in an appropriate environment and takes reasonable care in the delivery of the treatment from initial assessment to completion of the treatment including aftercare.

I agree I have a duty to;

2a. Ensure I have the correct insurance and keep it updated when new procedures are added.

2b. Seek and obtain consent at all stages during consultation, examination and treatment, and if the intention is to use client photographs for portfolio or advertising purposes

2c. Act in their client’s best interests

2d. Use principles of ethics for decision making and balance beneficence and non-maleficence

2e. Give clients information in a way that is clear, concise and understandable and respect client’s dignity and privacy

2f. Support the client’s decision regarding treatment and offer advice and guidance while remaining impartial

2g. Keep professional knowledge and skills up to date

2h. Recognise the limits of their professional competence and only offer services within their scope of practice

2i. Aestheticians will strictly adhere to all usage instructions and guidelines provided by product and equipment manufacturers

2j. Wherever treatment takes place it should be suitably designed and safely maintained to ensure that risk to clients and staff is minimised

2k. Ensure that infection prevention and control is practiced in accordance with the latest professional guidance and legislation relevant to the facility

2l. PPE must be worn if required during treatments and all safety procedures followed when using sharps

2m. Ensure they are appropriately trained and competent to manage any complications that may arise during or after treatment. This may include resuscitation or the management of anaphylaxis

2n. Advertising complies with current codes of advertising standards

2o. Remain up to date with changing legislation and continue in your professional development.

CBBG will not release any of your disclosed personal data to a third party where this contravenes the General Data Protection Regulations. I accept that the personal details given on the course date will only be shown on any documentation, certificates, I am aware I may incur a charge for any subsequent certificate changes.
